From Mid-March to July 2020 HBJJ has been closed.

From August,  members have been welcomed back for fitness, strength and flexibility training whilst maintaining social distancing.

A temporary timetable is in operation and we are currently unable to take on new members.

For new members keen to try out BJJ with us, we look forward to Government guidelines that ease restrictions on indoor contact sport/activities. For update keep an eye on our website.

It doesn’t matter what gender you are, your experience level or your fitness level. As long as you are over 17, these classes are for you. They come with black belt level instruction and a great inclusive team atmosphere.

We offer a combination of Gi and No-Gi training and cater for people who want to compete as well as those who are looking to pick up a new hobby. Learn More

Our Kids programme is designed to teach self-defence, respect, and improve fitness. Classes involve learning techniques, sparring and games.

Instructors are DBS checked and have created a fun, educational atmosphere. The classes come with black belt level instruction and both Male and female coaches. Learn More

Our Ladies only classes are a safe environment for women who would like to improve fitness, learn self defence and build confidence.

Classes are led by a female coach. As the classes are female led, there is a clear focus on techniques that don’t require having the size or strength advantage over your opponent. Learn More
